The Partial Cleanse was developed after having athletes interested in the benefits of a juice cleanse but unable to keep up their strenuous workouts with the calorie deficiency that comes with fasting. The Partial Cleanse is the best of both worlds: the benefits of adding nutrient-dense juice to your diet; while not having the restrictions of a traditional fast.
How It Works:
Choose from two different menu options, The Grass & Root Signature Cleanse or the Field of Greens (ingredient details below). You will drink the juices in any order and at any time of day. Pairing the 4 juices with a healthy meal each day.
Here are my diet recommendations:
The Whole30 is always G&R approved!
Eat plenty of veggies (preferably raw but if you want to steam or roast them, that is fine!)
Lean protein is great, especially if you are working out.
Eat healthy fats like avocado and coconut oil with every meal.
Refrain from gluten, dairy, sugar and alcohol.
Coffee is fine but it can increase your trips to the bathroom :)
Listen to your body when working out. Walking, light jogs and stretching is recommended. Drink plenty of water.
